About the event
13 & Under Nationals 1 | Years 7/8 and Below
Your club. Your teammates. Your opportunity to compete on the national stage.
Join us at Action Indoor Sports Birmingham on Sunday 6 December 2026 for a day of competitive junior indoor cricket, teamwork and club pride.
Open to all clubs across the UK, the 13 & Under Nationals 1 gives young cricketers the opportunity to test their skills against other clubs, build confidence and enjoy competing alongside their teammates. Whether your squad already plays indoor cricket or is bringing its outdoor experience onto the court, get your players together and take on the challenge.
Who can take part?
The competition is for players currently in Years 7 and 8 and below.
Girls may play down by up to two school years, meaning girls currently in Years 9 and 10 are also eligible to participate.
This is a club team-entry event. Registration should be completed on behalf of your team, rather than for individual players.
Compete, develop and enjoy
Every side is guaranteed a minimum of three games on the day, giving players plenty of opportunities to contribute with bat and ball and work together in the field.
From building batting partnerships and running between the wickets to bowling accurately and taking catches, indoor cricket rewards contributions from the whole team. Players will have the opportunity to sharpen their decision-making, communicate under pressure and support each other through the challenges of competition.
Selectors from the England Junior Performance Programme will be in attendance, providing an opportunity for young cricketers to showcase their skills, attitude and teamwork. Participation does not guarantee selection for an England programme.
