About the event
13 & Under Nationals 2 | Years 7/8 and Below
Start the new year with your teammates and represent your club with pride.
Join us at Action Indoor Sports Birmingham on Saturday 9 January 2027 for a day of competitive junior indoor cricket.
Open to all clubs across the UK, the 13 & Under Nationals 2 gives young cricketers the opportunity to test their skills against other clubs, build confidence and enjoy competing alongside their teammates. Whether your squad already plays indoor cricket or is bringing its outdoor experience onto the court, get your players together and take on the challenge.
Who can take part?
The competition is for players currently in Years 7 and 8 and below.
Girls may play down by up to two school years, meaning girls currently in Years 9 and 10 are also eligible to participate.
This is a club team-entry event. Registration should be completed on behalf of your team, rather than for individual players.
Compete, develop and enjoy
Every side is guaranteed a minimum of three games on the day, providing plenty of opportunities to contribute with bat and ball and work together in the field.
Indoor cricket encourages players to build partnerships, communicate clearly, make quick decisions and support each other after every delivery. This competition offers a chance to put those skills into practice while enjoying a day of cricket with their club.
Selectors from the England Junior Performance Programme will be in attendance, giving young players an opportunity to showcase their skills, attitude and teamwork. Participation does not guarantee selection for an England programme.
