The Opens is the pinnacle category of Indoor Cricket. Action Indoor Cricket England enter four teams to compete at the World Indoor Cricket Federation (WICF), World Cup. This includes the Open Men and Women as well as the 21 and Under Entries for both Boys and Girls.

 

The World Cup in 2022 is in Melbourne Australia, postponed 2 years from 2020 due to the Covid pandemic. This has also affected England's entries with only the Men's Open squad travelling in October.
